Hardware
Delivering the latest network hardware, desktops, notebooks, netbooks and more.
As companies grow more of their IT infrastructure is demanded. Often the piecemeal way in which systems are forced to adapt and cope leads to operational inefficiencies that can be traced back to networking hardware that doesn't meet current or future requirements. Because Pemrose supplies all hardware it is in our interests to ensure that you have the latest equipment, suited to your current requirements, and to replace and upgrade that hardware as you grow or it moves beyond its useful life. Pemrose are in the priviledged position of being able to monitor your network performance and fine-tune it both through optimal hardware selection and configuration.
The problem with piecemeal infrastructure
Because hardware is acquired as needed users are often working with different hardware manufacturers, models, operating system and software versions. In addition the differences make it difficult for administrators to create a customised image and deploy it to the entire organization, and then keep that image in step with updates and upgrades. Pemrose deliver consistent hardware to all users, and regularly deploy fresh images created in a virtualised environment that incorporate all hardware, driver and software upgrades.
Hardware refresh cycle
Pemrose place all subscription clients on a hardware refresh cycle according to the Clients requirements. Typically new hardware is deployed to all users every 36 months, though 24 and 12 month cycles are available to clients who place higher demands on their infrastructure. Pemrose remove and dispose of all old equipment, and typically refurbish the hardware for delivery to small start-up ventures, charities and schools.
Hardware selection and combinations
Pemrose match the requirements of each user to the hardware most suited to them, whether this is a thin client, full desktop, high-end workstation, notebook, netbook or mobile device. Pemrose deliver the correct combinations of these devices in a cost-effective manner, enabling users to work in the office, from home or when travelling.
User Centric Delivery
By taking these steps Pemrose are able to deliver a consistent user experience to all users on the network from the very top to the very bottom. Hardware is selected according to requirements and refreshed when it reaches the end of its functional life, well in advance on any problems. All hardware faults are serviced onsite and in the event of a failure, replaced the same day. Most hardware faults are turned around within 24 hours.
